Learn Science through Apps

I paid tribute to my mother in an earlier post and now I feel I should pay my father the same respect.  After being a science teacher my father moved into the administrative side of the education world, but he still enjoyed visiting the science classes to not only see the students but to bother the teachers as well.  So in honor of my father here are some science apps that can help entertain and teach.

happy little farmerFocused towards the pre-school aged learners this app educates children about the cycle of fruits and vegetables.  Through 15 activities the students will work around the farm to help grow crops and keep invaders out. There is also a treasure hunt throughout the game, by collecting all objects the user can create their own customized rabbit house.  This is a great app to use as an introduction to life cycles or as an additional resource.
